Helen C. Cresswell, 92, died on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Wesley Acres in Des Moines.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, May 24, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in West Des Moines, with burial following at Resthaven Cemetery.
Helen was born in Ft. Atkinson, IA and resided in the Des Moines area most of her life. She retired from National Handcraft Institute, where she held the position of Purchasing Director.
She is survived by her sister, Rita Schissel; as well as many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cresswell.
Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, at Iles Funeral Homes, Westover Chapel in Des Moines.
