Mildred V. Kyle, 89, of Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, Ill., died at 12:25 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at the nursing home.

Born Oct. 9, 1912, in Monmouth, Ill., she was the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Mary Jane Everhart Icenogle . She married Herbert Kyle in 1945 (Correction: 17 Jan 1947) in Chicago.

Mrs. Kyle was a homemaker.

Survivors include one stepson, John Kyle of Long Grove, Ill.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma E. Brown of Shell Knob, Mo., and Gladys P. Lee of Alexis, Ill.; and two brothers, Jasper Icenogle of Macomb, Ill., and Marion W. "Buck" Icenogle of Fayetteville, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.

Friends may call until 1 p.m. Wednesday at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth.

No family visitation is planned.

The graveside service for Mrs. Kyle will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery in Monmouth.
