Aaron Frisch, 37, of North Mankato, passed away on January 7, 2013, in Mankato. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, January 12, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville with Fr. Peter VanderWeyst and Fr. David Maciej con celebrating.

Aaron was born in Browerville on July 22, 1975, the son of Allan and Donna Frisch. He has two sisters and one brother: Joy (Keith) Schmoll of Shakopee; Jessie (fiancé Chris Posch) of Savage; and Nate of Custer, South Dakota.

Aaron was a graduate of Browerville High School ('93) and St. John's University ('97) with a degree in English. He worked at the Creative Company in Mankato since 1998. As editor and author, he received awards and recognition for some of his many children's books and was a respected member of an area writing group.

Aaron's primary love was his family. He enjoyed family occasions like holidays, camping, golfing, sports, horse racing, and bird hunting. He also enjoyed nature trips with his best friend, his brother. Physically fit and strong, Aaron had an easy golf swing that could hit the ball a country mile.

Aaron was a kind, thoughtful, gentle person with a sense of humor and a quiet, quick wit. He was respected by people who knew and worked with him. He was and is deeply loved by his family.
