GEORGE W. ALLEN
A funeral service for George W. Allen, 91, who died Tuesday at his Stafford County home, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home.
Rev. Paul M. Curry will conduct the service with burial in the family cemetery near New Hope Church in Stafford County.
Pallbearers will be Carter Newton, James Williams, John Silver, Brady Kimmitz, Leonard Fines and Frank Stevens.
A retired farmer, Mr. Allen is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Fines of Stafford; two sons, Irvin Allen, also of Stafford, and French Allen of this city; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
