O.W. Stottlemyre, 69-year-old Oklahoma Pioneer Dairyman, died Thursday in a Tulsa convalescent home.
Born in Missouri, Stottlemyre came to Oklahoma, settling near Wekiwa in 1906, launching a dairy business. Later he moved to Sperry and continued running the dairy until his health failed in 1937 when he sold out and moved to a new home near Keystone.
Surviving him are the widow, Mrs. Ethel Stottlemyre, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. May Scott, Sand Spring, three sons, Otto Stottlemyre, Sand Springs; John Stottlemyre, Sand Springs, and Harry Stottlemyre, 3800 West Edison; two brothers, Jim Stottlemyre, Cheholis, Wash., and Frank Stottlemyre, Dykes, Mo.; four half-brothers, six half sisters, 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from the Winterringer funeral home chapel with Rev. Archie Kinion pastor of the Sand Springs Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
