Abraham Curleyhead Tarbell, 80, Cook Road, died at 9:25 a m Tuesday, February 21, 1995, in Hotel Dieu Hospital, Cornwall, Ontario. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 24, 1995, at St. Regis Catholic Church, St. Regis, Quebec, Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery,Hogansburg Born October 12, 1914, in Hogansburg, a son of Donaldson Thomas and Christine Cook Tarbell, he attended Hogansburg schools. He married Anna Oakes on July 24,1937, at St Regis Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Borget presiding. She died July 27, 1994. Mr. Tarbell served with Navy as a seaman first class from 1943 to 1946. He was employed in the pot room at Aluminum Co of America, Massena, until his retirement He was a communicant of St. Regis Catholic Church and a member of Andrew Cook American Legion Post. Surviving are a son, Warren Curleyhead, Hogansburg; a daughter, Mrs. Austin (Sally) Cook, Hogansburg; five grandchildren; a brother, Alfred, Hogansburg, and a
nephew. A sister, Charlotte Tarbell, died before him.
