Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the Egelhof funeral home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the funeral home. The Rev. G. Dempster Yinger, of St. Luke's Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Linwood cemetery.
She was born on Nov. 16, 1859, at Council Hills Station near Galena, Ill., a daughter of the late Jacob and Jane Davis. She came to Dubuque 50 years ago and lived at 767 Roberts street until she moved to the Bethany home six years ago. She was a member of St. Luke's Methodist church.
Surviving are a son, Earl C. Smith, of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. R. C. (Verna) McKinney, of Cleghorn, la.; a brother, Jacob Davis, of Custer, S. D., a niece, Miss Lucille Smith, of Dubuque; and two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded by her husband in 1937.
