In New Paltz, Nov. 4th, 1895, at the residence of his son-in-law Chas. H. Bleeker [sic], Alexander Vanderlyn, aged 78 years, 10 months, and 13 days.
Funeral services will be held at the residence of Charles H. Bleeker, Village Hall, Wednesday Nov. 6th, at 1 o'clock P.M.

Alexander Vanderlyn, who died at the residence of his son-in-law, Chas. Bleeker on Monday, had resided in Rosendale for a number of years, but formerly lived in New Paltz. He was a mason by trade, and at one time carried the mail between New Paltz and Poughkeepsie.
