DILLSBURG - Clara E. (Baker) Yost, 79, of 8 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, died Thursday at Harrisburg Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jacob Weigard Yost.

The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Cocklin Funeral Home, 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Burial will be in Barrens Salem Union Cemetery in Washington Township. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 am. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Yost was born June 30, 1918, in Dover Township. She was the daughter of the late Park L. and Lola L. (Shank) Baker.
She was a member of Barrens United Lutheran Church in Dillsburg, its Willing Workers class and Dillsburg Senior Center.

Mrs. Yost is survived by six sons, Harold J. Yost of Mechanicsburg, Ernest P. Yost of Clark Summit, Gregory R. Yost of East Berlin, Roger J. Yost of Gulfport, Miss., and Gerald E. Yost and Keith N. Yost, both of Dillsburg; four daughters, Irene Butz of Basin, Wyo., Pearl E. McCartney of Carlisle and Connie L. Otstot and Ellen Orr, both of Dillsburg; 21 grandchildren; a step-grandchild; 24 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. M.Benson.
