The former Anita Cecelia Ackerman was born April 24, 1909 in McSherrystown, the daughter of George J., and Rebecca Oaster Ackerman. She married Ralph R. Myers Sept 7, 1938, in Baltimore, MD. He died July 29, 1947.
Mrs. Myers was a graduate from St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Lancaster, PA. in 1931. She worked as a registered nurse for more than 30 years at Hanover, PA., General Hospital and Winchester, VA., memorial Hospital, retiring in 1975.
Survivors include a daughter, leita Viniard, Bettendorf; three grandchildren and a sister, Delta Miller, Chambersburg, PA.
