Ruth E. Fields Burris Estep, 59, of Elizabethtown died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at her home.
Mrs. Estep retired from Cosco where she worked for 17 years and was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Baptist faith.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Inlow & Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Born in Columbus Nov. 21, 1945, Mrs. Estep was the daughter of Samuel C. and Mary E. Hash Fields. She married Dan Estep Sept. 10, 2000.
Surviving are sons, James D. Anderson of Elizabethtown, Mark Allan Anderson of North Vernon and David Burris of Columbus; a daughter, Jerri Fields of Elizabethtown; a stepson, Albert D. Burris of Edinburgh; a stepdaughter, Christina Fish of Taylorsville; brothers, Jerry, Gary and Welba Fields, all of Tampa, Fla.; sisters, Doris Bush of Westport and Marie England of Columbus; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on June 29, 2001; a son, Michael "Tony" Anderson; and her second husband, James Burris.
