Miss Myrtle the sixteen year old daughter of Mr and Mrs M E Carden, of near Talcott, died at 7:30 last evening of spinal meningitis of which she had been suffering for the past month.
Miss Carden is survived by her father and mother, three sisters and three brothers in addition to many other friends and relatives to mourn her loss.
She was a bright and dutiful daughter and will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to make her acquaintance.
The funeral services will be conducted at the Oak Grove Church Thursday at two o'clock, after which the remains will be buried there.
