Mrs. Stella J. Smith, 67, of 108 S. Third St., Columbia, died Thursday at Columbia Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was the wife of Daniel A. Smith, and was born in Berwick, a daughter of the late Daniel and Daisy Nauss Leas.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband and a daughter Lillie M., wife of Lawrence Beers, with whom she resided; seven grandchildren and two brothers; Elmer and Lawrence Leas, both of Columbia.
Also surviving are four sisters: Clara, wife of Howard McCumsey: Edith, wife of Harry Hogentogler; Mrs. Bertha Carney, all of Columbia; and Dorothy, wife of Richard Holt, Warwick, N. J.
