The funeral of James Byron Nugent, 16 years old, who died Tuesday, was held from the family residence, 5847 Maple avenue. Burial was in Bellefontaine cemetery. the young man was the oldest son of James G. Nugent, of the B. Nugent Bro. Dry goods Co. His death was cause by a valvular affection of the heart. his health had been affected since infancy, and he was subject to frequent fainting attacks. One of these occurred Monday, and physicians were called. He apparently recovered, but became sick again Tuesday morning.

He was born in St. Louis, and had resided here with his parents all his life. A year ago he was compelled to quite his classes at Smith Academy owing to illness. He is survived by his parents and six brothers and sisters.
