Mr. Alexis R. Coutchie, age 91, died Monday, Dec. 16, 1991. He was born in Muskegon on June 21, 1900 and was preceded in death by his wives, Florence, Sarah & Jacqueline. He was a local realtor associated with his brother, Ted, in Coutchie Realtors. He was a member of St. Jean's Catholic Church, Spring Lake Country Club, White Lake Golf Club, Century Club, Muskegon Elks and Knights of Columbus. Mr. Coutchie was also a life member & past president of Muskegon County Board of Realtors and was a past president of the Home Builders Association. He was an Army Veteran of World War I.
Survivors: 1 daughter, Ellen Hanley and son-in-law Dr. William Hanley; 2 grandchildren, Rochelle Hanley of Chapel Hill, NC & William J. Hanley of Northbrook, IL; 4 great-grandsons; 1 sister, Margaret Emlong of St. Joseph, MI and 1 brother, Ted Coutchie of Muskegon.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jean's Catholic Church with interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
