Alan Tsosie, 58, of Hogback passed from this life Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, in Shiprock. He was born on April 23, 1954, in Farmington.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Tsosie; sons Fabian (Shayne) Tsosie and Jacob Tsosie; daughters Michele Tsosie and Melarie Tsosie; brothers Tom Tsosie, Jerry (Lula) Lamone, Frank (Teri) Lamone and Fred (Shirlene) Lamone; sisters Lorraine (Joe) Begay, LaVonne Lamone and Lenora (Raymond) Tacheenie; Lavina Lamone; two grandchildren, Angelique and Miyana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ned Tsosie and Edith Lamone; and brother Franklin Tsosie.
Pallbearers are Tom Tsosie, Jerry Lamone, Frank Lamone, Fred Lamone, Fabian Tsosie and Jacob Tsosie.
Honorary pallbearers are Mary Tsosie, Fabian (Shayne) Tsosie, Michele Tsosie, Melarie Tsosie, Jacob Tsosie, Angelique Denarend and Miyana Denarend.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012 at Four Corners Community Church in Shiprock. Pastor Eric Lee will officiate. Interment will follow at the Kirtland/Fruitland Cemetery in Kirtland.
A reception at Waterflow Community Center in Waterflow will follow the funeral services.
Alan is in the care of Desert View Funeral Home, N. U.S. Highway 491 in Shiprock.
