Alice V. Sprague, 91, 48 Dutchtown Road, Reynoldsville, died Monday, May 13, 2013, at Christ The King Manor, DuBois.

Born July 28, 1921, in Rathmel, she was the daughter of the late James and Jessie Cramer McGranor.

She was married to Adam "John" Sprague June 28, 1942. He preceded her in death March 25, 2006.

She was a 1939 graduate of Reynoldsville High School and was the retired owner/operator with her husband of the Sprague's Service for 43 years.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Reynoldsville, the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 220 Reynoldsville, American Legion Auxiliary, Reynoldsville Grange, Rathmel Victory Club and the DuBois Bowling League for 14 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Janet S. Olson of Reynoldsville; a grandson, Todd Kaczorowski of Peters Township; three great-grandchildren: Kennedy, Finnigan and Caden Kaczorowski.

She was also preceded in death by six brothers: Harry, Frank, George, William, Patrick and John McGranor and two sisters Elizabeth Wonderling and Helen Beck.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville. The Order of Eastern Star Chapter 220 will conduct services at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Rob Fernandez officiating. Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
