BIO by Karla Todd Sherer:

Samuel is the son of Samuel Henry Jr. and Leona Elmira Scroggins Conley. I don't know if he was actually named Sam III but it's the only way I know to identify him in this family as he is the 3rd in a row to be honored with the name. He grew up with several siblings and they are:

Martha Emma Conley 1877 – 1900
Lavinia Jane Conley 1878 – 1965
Robert Lee Conley 1881 – 1937
Unknown Conley female 1883 – 1883
Thomas Jefferson Conley 1886 – after 1948
Andrew A. "Gus" Conley 1887 – 1965
Grover Cornelius Conley 1892 – 1952
Mary Elizabeth Conley 1897 – 1983

On 30 Apr 1919, Sam married Era Jemima Missouri Dellinger in Arkansas. They raised 3 children who are connected below. Sam worked on oil and gas wells in various positions. They lived in Pushmataha Co., OK and then in Olney, Young Co., TX and back to OK, moving with this industry and his work. Sam's wife preceded him by about 6 years.

Gone but never forgotten.....
