Samuel Noble Conley
Samuel Noble Conley born January 23, 1927 in Olney, and grew up near Cloudy, Oklahoma. He was in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948, attended Airborne school in Fort Benning, Ga., and was later stationed in Sendai, Japan.
He attended the University of Oklahoma where he received a BS degree in geology. He was employed in the oil services industry and later became an independent oil producer.
Sam and AnnaBelle Conley were married December 6, 1948 and were married for 56 years. They had three children: Rene Snelling and husband, Bill of Mauldin, SC, Dennis Conley and companion, Robin Christensen of Jackson, WY, and Barbara Larsen and husband, Kevin of Sadler.
He is survived by one brother, Ben Conley and wife, Eulene of Phoenix, Ariz.
His grandchildren are Samantha Vance, Lucas Eyskens and Jeremy Larsen. He has three great-grandchildren.
All of his family and friends, including nieces and nephews cherished his humor, love and wonderful conversation.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro.
