Otis Wayne Hughes, 60, of Kilbourne, IL died at 3:30 p.m. Monday in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.

He was born in Kilbourne January 28, 1917, a son of Efner and Cordelia Mary Ketcham Hughes. He married Floye Berneda Conklin July 31, 1941, in Kilbourne.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Jeanette) McCaulley of Peoria Heights, IL, Mrs. Kathleen M. Gilmore and Mrs. Jim (Vivian) Freeman, both of Kilbourne; three sons, Charles (Linda) Hughes of Morton, IL, Russell Hughes and Danny Hughes, both of Kilbourne; and one brother, Howard Hughes of Peoria, IL.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

Mr. Hughes formerly was parts manager at Wieber Motor Co., Havana.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Kilbourne Baptist Church. The Rev. Craig Averill will officiate, and burial will be in Kilbourne Cemetery.
