Edward Arthur Jensen was born in Washington County, Nebraska, at the home of his parents, Soren and Anne Sine Jensen.
The year 1900 finds Edward and his younger brother, Henry, living with his older brother, Nels, and his family in Lincoln Township, Washington, Nebraska.
The family employed two servants; Dora Petersen, age 15 (b NE) and 21 year old Macdonald Widner (b VA).
By 1910, Edward has married Amy C. Andersen and they are living in Grant, Washington, Nebraska. They now have two children, Earl and Lucille who, like their parents, were Nebraska born.
Also present in the home is Swedish-born Joseph Pearson, age 17, whose relationship to the family is unknown.
The year 1920 finds the family still living in Washington County. The Jensen's have added two children to the family; 9 year old Alice, and Stanley, age 6.
Nebraska born Katherine Gottsch, age 24, is also sharing their home with them. Her relationship to the family is undeclared.
By 1930, tha family has relocated to the community of Blair. Daughter, Lucille, has married and left the home, and Amy's widowed mother, (Charlotta) Sophia Andersen, is now making her home with the family. Sophia will pass away later in this same year.
