Eugene was the husband of Judith Ann Morris, eldest son of Frank Sickles Scott Jr and Bertha Dorothy Brogeler, and daughter, Deborah Ann (Scott) Schermerhorn. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Dorothy Scott.
Eugene served overseas (Germany) in the U.S. Army in the mid 1950s. He worked as a printer (pressman) with the Amalgamated Lithographers Union Local One for most of his career. Several years prior to his retirement in 1998, he worked as a nurse's assistant in several private nursing homes. Eugene was a long-time member of the Community Evangelical Free Church in River Vale, New Jersey.
