This cemetery was originally on the old,Nathaniel Elonzo Turner and wife, Mary Catherine Cone Smith,1200 acre plantation on the banks of the Suwannee River in Columbia County,Florida.The widowed, Molly Turner sold the property in 1925 to Emory Carter.In 1992 Emory's son's gave, John Clay Harris ( Turner decendent) a tour of former Turner plantation.During the tour ,John took these pictures of the cemetery and near by pillings of the old "Turner Bridge"

The infomation that was passsed down by ,John's great grandmother , Maude Marion Turner (Molly Turner oldest daughter) about this cemetery ,on their property ,was that the Summerall family had members of their family buried here.Since there are no grave stones that have been recovered from the overgrown and neglected cemetery it is not known at this time which "Summerall " graves are here.
