Vern Luce, 69, of 446 Spruce street, died at his home yesterday at 7 p. m. following an extended illness.
Mr. Luce was born in Clearfield County, June 20, 1884, a son of the late LeVander and Rebecca (McCracken) Luce.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sarah Jane Luce, the following children: Fred, Mrs. Anna Marie McCoy, Mrs. Margaret Lines, Miss Hazel and Robert Luce, all of Clearfield; Clair, Smicksburg, Pa.; and Harold with the U. S. Navy; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the Leavy Funeral Home Monday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. A. H. Owens officiating.
Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and evening and until time of services.
