Services for Bertha C. Braun, 85, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Addison, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the Lutheran Home for the Aged, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Braun, who was born May 18, 1911 in Elmhurst, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 1996 at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Addison.
She was the wife of the late Edward Bunge and Joseph Braun; mother of Donna M. (Kenneth) Penkala and Richard E. (Doris) Bunge; mother-in-law of the late Harvey Richert; grandmother of seven; stepgrandmother of four; great-grandmother of 10 and stepgreat-grandmother of seven; sister of Malinda Nordbrock, Marie Krueger, Martin Bockelmann, and the late Christian, Otto, Helmuth and Fritz Bockelmann.
Visitation was from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, at the Lutheran Home for the Aged.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lutheran Home for the Aged.
