Death announcement from the Saturday, December 6, 1873 New York Herald (New York, N.Y.):

"Bininger---Lost at sea, by the sinking of the steamship Ville du Havre, on the 22nd of November, Elizabeth S. Draper, wife of Abraham Bininger, and daughter of the late Lorenzo Draper.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Ascention, Fifth avenue, corner of Tenth street, on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 7, at 4 o'clock. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend."

Her daughter, Fanny, was also on board the ship, but was saved, and went on to Paris after the accident. Her husband, Abraham, who didn't go on the trip, was very badly stunned with the news of the accident and of the loss of his wife.

(Note: Elizabeth's marriage announcement was in the Saturday, May 2, 1846 Spectator (New York, NY) as shown: MARRIED. On Thursday morning, 30th April, by Rev. Dr. Bedell, Mr. ABRAHAM BININGER to ELIZABETH S., daughter of Mr. Lorenzo Draper."

She was the daughter of Sarah Elizabeth Dolliver Draper, the second wife of Lorenzo Draper.
