Funeral services for Mrs. Hester Bell Fields, 63, of Northport Rt. 1 will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Piney Woods Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Fields, a lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa County, died Sunday afternoon in Druid City Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Moody Fields of Northport Rt. 1; four daughters, Mrs. Moody Barger of Northport, Mrs. Earl Homan and Mrs. Jimmy Phillips of Tuscaloosa and Mrs. Charles Mitchell of Centreville; five sons, Wilton Fields, George Fields, Billy Fields and Bobby Fields, all of Tuscaloosa, and James O. Fields of the U.S. Navy; four brothers, John Shirley of Tuscaloosa, Henry Shirley of Oakman, Chris Shirley of Charleston, N.C. and Jesse Shirley of Detroit, Mich., 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Jim Phillips, Earl Homan, Charles Mitchell, Moody Barger, Thurman Fields and Gerald Malone.
