Gladys E. Harrison, 94 of Winona, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Sauer Healthcare and Rehab.

Gladys was born September 2, 1918 in Houston to Harley James and Edna Sophie (Germanson) Sholes. In 1939, she married Marion K. Grinage and they were later divorced. Gladys married Francis W. Harrison in 1944 and together they moved to Long Island, N.Y. Gladys worked for Grumman Aerospace in Long Island, retiring in 1978. Following retirement, she moved to Elmwood, WI and in 2010 she returned to Winona. Gladys enjoyed gardening, sewing and art.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Ann Graf & Marilyn (Patrick) Finneran; three granddaughters, Tara, Darlene & Allison; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild on the way; one brother, Glenn Sholes and many nieces and nephews. Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Francis; granddaughter, Kelly Zimardi; six sisters and two brothers.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 14 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview, led by Funeral Celebrant Jenny Hoff. Visitation will be 10 a.m., until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
