OBITUARY.
An occurrence which deeply saddened the community here was the news of the death of Albert Ferbrache, who passed from this life at the home of his grandparents in Clay Center, July 19thy, 1915. Albert was born in Meriden, Kansas, July 14th, 1894, and when the call from the Great Beyond came, he was 21 years and 4 days of age.
His mother died when he was but one year old, leaving him to the care of his Grandma Hoag, who took the place of his mother and always felt the wants of the grandson.
He has lived the greater part of his life in and around Meriden, moving only in January to Clay Center. Besides a host of friends he leaves four brothers: John, Samuel, Frank and Ralph, and Grandmother Hoag to mourn their loss.
Services were conducted at their home in Clay Center Monday, and the remains were brought to Meriden for burial, where services were held by Rev. Deever at the U. B. church after which the body was laid to rest in the Meriden cemetery.
