Mary Z. Shenenberger, of Chambersburg, departed this life on the afternoon of May 8, 2013.

Born November 2, 1921 in Franklin Township, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Nora (Tritle) Zeger. She was the wife of Robert E. Shenenberger, of Chambersburg and was preceded in death by her first husband, Ira K. Naugle who died in 1994.

Mrs. Shenenberger retired from the Social Security Administration where she worked as a service representative.

She was a member of NARF, the Senior Citizens of McKnightstown and was a volunteer at Menno Haven in Chambersburg. Mary was also a member of Flohr's Lutheran Church, McKnightstown.

Mary is survived by her two daughters, Denise N. Lucas and husband Ted, of Chambersburg, Kay G. Kane and husband Larry, of Chambersburg; son-in-law, Gary Dambach; three grandsons, Neil Kane, Brenton Lucas, and Bradley Lucas, and two step children, William Shenenberger and Mary Ann Blauch.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy B. Dambach, as well as two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., May 14, 2013 at Flohr's Lutheran Church, McKnightstown, with Rev. Douglas Boden and Rev. Thomas Darr officiating. Burial will be in the Flohr's Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
