Clifton J. Gautreaux
LAFAYETTE -- Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at a Mass of Christian burial in St. Genevieve Catholic Church for Clifton J. Gautreaux, 54, who died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at his residence.
The Rev. Jody Simoneaux, pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Interment will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gautreaux, a native of Lafayette, was the son of Lloyd J. Gautreaux and the late Hortense Alleman.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Lloyd J. and Wanda H. Gautreaux, of Lafayette; his fiance, Linda Thibodeaux, of Lafayette; a stepdaughter, Michelle Thibodeaux, of Lafayette; two sisters, Linda Latour and her husband,Michael , and Lena Gonzales and her husband, Joseph, all of Lafayette; two brothers, Ulysses J. Gautreaux and his wife, Diane, of Lafayette, and Jimmy J. Gautreaux and his wife, Laura, of Crowley; and his brother-in-law, John Grossie, of Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Pallbearers will be John Grossie, Ulysess Gautreaux, Mike Latour, Joseph Gonzales, Laura Gautreaux and Wayne Pratt.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Gautreaux and Paul Bernard.
Visitation will be observed from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. today and will continue from 8 a.m. Friday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
