Venango Citizen Press, April 8, 1942:
Mrs. Maude Abrams, 66, died at her home in Diamond at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday after a lingering illness.

She was a lifelong resident of Diamond. As a member of the United Brethren Church, she was active in church affairs and affairs of the community. For many years she sang in the church choir.

Her husband died on March 8, 1938.

The following children survive: Mrs. Grant Brown, Centerville; Mrs. Paul Price, Union City; Mrs. Lester Jones, Perry, O.; Harry Abrams, Tryonville; Mrs. Ira Thomas, Sunville; Rex Abrams, Mrs. Lee Acel and Mrs. Henry Ralston, Titusville; Donald, at home; and Frank Abrams, of Diamond. One brother, Homan Tracy, of Diamond, also survives.

Funerals services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the United Brethren Church at Diamond preceded by a prayer service at the McKinley Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. L.T. Lincoln, pastor of the church, will officiate.

Interment will be made in the Diamond Cemetery.
