Mrs. Nellie Hurt, age 56, passed away at her home at 2325 South 14th St., New Castle, Indiana on Sunday, June 19, after a long illness.
Besides her husband, Fred Hurt, survivors include, her daughter, Mrs. May Atkinson; two grandchildren; two brothers, Virgil and Herbert Ballenger, of New Castle; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Upchurch of Monticello, KY.
Funeral services were conducted at the Broad Street Church of the Nazarene at 2:30 Wed, June 22. Burial in the South Mound Cemetery.
(Nellie L. (Ballenger) Hurt was the wife of Freddie Fillmore Hurt. They were married in Clinton Co., KY.)
