MORGANTOWN ‾ Our quiet little town was aroused about 5 o団lock on Saturday morning by the announcement that John Green was stricken down with heart disease. Brother Green lingered till about 8:30 o団lock when he was relieved by the death angels. Rev. Fowler, of Franklin, delivered the funeral services at the Christian church. Bro. Green was 66 years old and had been a member of the Christian church some 40 years. An upright and an honorable man in every respect and will be missed throughout the neighborhood in which he lived.
