Elizabeth I. Altman Connor, 95, of Greensburg, formerly of Youngwood, died Monday, July 2, 2001, in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. Born Jan. 5, 1906, in South Greensburg, she was a daughter of the late Ezra Edward and Matilda Steiner Altman. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Youngwood, its Philantea Class, and the Dames of Malta Order. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Connor; a brother, Thomas Altman; and two sisters, Bessie Miller and Catherine Altman.
She is survived by two sons, Francis L. Connor of Urbana, Ohio, and William Edward Connor of Milpitas, Calif.; four grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; a sister, Caroline Evans of Youngwood; and a brother, Walter Altman of Middletown. Friends will be received Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood, where services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. David S. Jack officiating.
Interment in Middletown Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
