Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials: Parkinson Disease Association or American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Wade was born in Jackson County on Jan. 28, 1918, the daughter of Millard A. and Anna Manis Sullivan. She was a retired teacher. She taught in Southern Illinois and at Dennis School in Decatur for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Retired Teachers Association, IEA, NEA and DEA. She married Harvey "Everett" Wade on June 13, 1948. He preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 1987.
Surviving are her sister, Emogene Nesheim of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Orville Sullivan and wife Voris of Tampa, Fla.; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Irene Brake and Ruth Sullivan.
