"From the Town of Tusten Historian obituary collection, Narrowsburg, Sullivan Co., NY - ALBERT EHRIL SR DIED SUDDENLY - Had been Ill Eight Weeks of Pluerisy and Pneumonia After an illness of eight weeks Albert Ehrle, Sr for upwards of 20 years a successful farmer and boarding housekeepee of East Cochecton, died suddenly at about 8 o'clock on the morning of July 5 1921 aged 76 years.
A native of Stutgart, Germany, at the age of 18 he migrated to USA. He located in New York City and later came to Cochecton.
Tow years lat May Mrs Ehrle died, but he is survived by the following children: Albert, Jr., and Louis of East Cochecton, Otto, and Josephine at home. Mrs Wirt Moultrhop of Kenoza Lake, Mrs Abijah Brining of Lake Huntington and Mrs Edward Lutz of West Orange. Two sisters - Mrs Anna Berner and Mrs Mary Stackmar of New York City and eight grandchildren also survive.
The funeral was held from his late residence at 2 p.m. Friday, Rev Musselman of the Cochecton Presbyterian church officiated. Interment in the East Cochecton Cemetery by Undertaker Valentine."
