A native of Stutgart, Germany, at the age of 18 he migrated to USA. He located in New York City and later came to Cochecton.
Tow years lat May Mrs Ehrle died, but he is survived by the following children: Albert, Jr., and Louis of East Cochecton, Otto, and Josephine at home. Mrs Wirt Moultrhop of Kenoza Lake, Mrs Abijah Brining of Lake Huntington and Mrs Edward Lutz of West Orange. Two sisters - Mrs Anna Berner and Mrs Mary Stackmar of New York City and eight grandchildren also survive.
The funeral was held from his late residence at 2 p.m. Friday, Rev Musselman of the Cochecton Presbyterian church officiated. Interment in the East Cochecton Cemetery by Undertaker Valentine."
