Richard (Dick) Burt was born 18 Oct 1886 in Jacksboro, Texas to William Thomas and Leatha Margaret Farley Burt. He married Alice Thompson on 25 Dec 1909 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He worked at Okmulgee Oil Refinery for around 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife on 13 May 1972 and two infant sons,Tommie and Jessie. He is survived by two sons, Lonnie and wife Connie Burt of Oklahoma City,James Richard Jr. and wife, Georgia Burt of Pauls Valley, Ok. One daughter, Leatha Esther Scott of Okemah, Oklahoma. Four granddaughters, Anthea Burt Dixon Craig, Patricia Burt Winchester Sprouse, Alice Marsh Payne and Susan Marsh Orr. One grandson, John W D Marsh 3rd and 15 great-grandchildren.
