DERAEDT, ALEX

Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Alex is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elnora; four children, Michael, Gary, Debbie and Susan; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Leon (Dee) Deraedt.

Alex was a Navy Veteran of World War II and was retired from C. Thorrez Industries after over 35 years of service. He loved to hunt and fish with his grandson.

According to his wishes, Mr. Deraedt has been cremated. There will be no visitation or services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Catholic Church.

Desnoyer Funeral Home--Family owned for 123 years.

Thank you son for transferring my birth father's sisters husband over to me. Uncle Lex was much loved I will miss him so much. He loved and treated me like I was his own daughter. He was fun to be around and was kind and loving.
