On 1880 census, Lola is living with her mother, siblings, and her husband Walter Dean, who is listed as a 22 year old "Phicitian" (physician?).

The friends and acquaintances of Mrs. Lola Marshall Dean, Mrs. L. E. Adams, Mr. Eugene Adams, Mrs. J. A. Noyes and Mrs. A. A. Marshall are invited to attend the funeral of Mrs. Lola Marshall Dean from her late residence, 482 Boulevard, at 3 o'clock p.m. Thursday, 21st instant. The following gentlemen will act as pall bearers and please meet at office of H. M. Patterson at 2 p.m.: James A. Anderson, Tom Corrigan, W. S. M. Pinkham, W. P. Hill, W. D. Ellis and W. S. Thomson. Interment at Oakland.

Mrs. Lola Marshall Dean died at her residence, 482 Boulevard, at 3 o'clock p.m. yesterday, after a protracted illness. Mrs. Dean has had heart disease for years, requiring her to spend her winters in St. Augustine, Fla.

Mrs. Dean was a woman of lovable character and her many warm friends in Atlanta and elsewhere will mourn her untimely death. She leaves one child, a daughter - Leonora Dean.

The time of the funeral and place of interment will be announced later.
