Leonard W. Peak, 80, of 10124 East 68th, Raytown, Missouri, died Friday at a nursing home at 7001 Cleveland, Kansas City, Missouri. He was born in Girard, Kansas and had lived in the area 58 years. Mr. Peak was a retired bus driver for the Kansas city Transit Co. He was a member of American Legion, the Transit Golden Age Club and the Amalgamated Streetcar Operators. He was a veteran of World War I. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lorena M. Peak of the home; a son, F. W. Peak, Gladstone; a daughter, Mrs. Eva M. Chapman, 9412 East 67th Terrace, Raytown, Mo., six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Floral Hills Chapel, burial Floral Hills Cemetery.
