Mrs. Ella Lawson Williams, 83, of 735 1st St., S. W., died Monday at her home after a brief illness.

Born in Pulaski County in 1874, the daughter of the late Claiborne and Texanna O'Dell Lawson and preceded in death by her husband.

John W. Williams, she is survived by two sons, C. H. Williams, Pulaski and John W. Wooton, Salem; four daughters, Mrs. C. M Fitzgerald, Miss Glenna A. Williams, Miss Sammy Williams and Mrs. H. L. Hutchens Jr, all of Pulaski; five sisters, Mrs. J. W. Rigney and Mrs. W. R. Cox, both of Draper; Mrs. J. C. Safewright, Williamson, W. Va.; Mrs. T. F. Layman and Mrs. India Moyers, both of Eaton, Ohio. Also, nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 a m. from the First Methodist Church with the pastor the Rev. A. L. Brewwer and the Rev. John O. Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Draper Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Burman Grantham, Raymond Dawson, Royce Rosenbaum, Calvin Hurst, Stein Wolfe and Larson Webb. The body will be removed from Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home to the residence this afternoon where it will remain until one hour before services.
