The body was removed from Kerrigan Chapel to the family home Thursday afternoon.
Paul F. Hickey was born in Broadwell Township January 31, 1891, the son of James H. and Mary Rourke Hickey.
When he was two years of age the family moved to a farm new New Holland, where he continued to reside until 1935 when he located near Beason. In 1936 he retired from farming and entered the insurance business in Lincoln.
In Sept. 1920, he was married to Lucile Ryan of New Holland, who with an infant son, Paul Gene, preceded him in death. In 1929 he married Emily B. Smiley, who survives with the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Ellen Coogan, Wm. R., Mrs. J.V. Grosomer, James V. and Mrs. A.C. Wacaser of Lincoln and John J. and Mrs. Harry Huffman of New Holland. One sister Anna Catherine, is deceased.
