Marshalltown, Iowa -- Services for Jessie M. Clifton, 93, of Marshalltown, formerly of Moline, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Central Christian Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown.
Mrs. Clifton died Wednesday at Villa del Sol.
Etsel-Perrin-Avey Funeral Home, Marshalltown, is in charge of arrangements.
Jessie and her husband, Charlie Clifton, opened Clifton's Park-A-Round Market, where she worked as bookkeeper. At one time, the number of stores totaled nine. They sold their stores in 1957 and later opened Charlie's Market in Conrad.
Memorials may be made to Quakerdale Rena Van Orman Home.
Amond survivors are a daughter, Sue (Mrs. Harold) Slage, Davenport; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and a son, Charles Jr.
