Last rites for Janie Neese held November 14
Services for Janie Pearl Neese, age 14, were held November 14 at 2 p.m. at the William Springs Church of God.
The young girl died November 13 at Kilmichael Hospital from gunshot wounds.
Officiating at the services was Rev. W. L. Jones. Burial was in Freewill cemetery, Oliver Funeral Home in charge.
Surviving are her father, Charles Neese, Leland; her stepmother, Mrs. Ann Neese, Leland; her mother, Mrs. Joyce Garrett Neese, Stewart; a son, Jimmy Eugene Neese, Stewart.
Also, two brothers, Charles Neese and Jimmy Neese, Stewart; two half-brothers, Charles William Neese, Jr., and Henry Lee Neese, Leland; four sisters, Ruby Neese, Nancy Neese, Linda Neese, and Joyce Ann Neese, all of Stewart; a half-sister, Pamela Sue Neese, Leland.
Other survivors are her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Janie Garrett, Stewart, her paternal grandfather, Enda Neese, Greenville; and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Evie Smith, Leland.
Pallbearers were Wayne Myles, Buddy Owens, James Busby, Len Stevens, John Busby, and Aubrey Johnson.
