Ella married Alvin Wood (1858-1890) on November 27, 1879, at the age of 16 and proceeded to have 6 children:
1) Edward "Eddie" Edgar Wood (1881-1962);
2) Anna "Annie" Wood Hill (1883-?)
3) Lewis "Louie" A. Wood (1885-1940);
4) Alice Wood Turpin (1886-1940)
5) Elizabeth "Eliza" Wood Richardson (1887-1978) - my husband's grandmother; and,
6) Marion Wood (1889-1930).
Ella never remarried after her husband Alvin Wood died when she was just 27 with 6 small children under her care.
Ella died on Christmas Eve in 1939 at the age of 76.
My husband would love to communicate with any descendants of this family.
