Mrs. Rouse died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at King's Mountain hospital after an illness of six months.
Born in Washington County, Va., she had spent most of her life in Marion, Va., where she was a member of the Baptist Church. For the past 15 years she had made her home with her sons in Bristol. She was the widow of James H. Rouse, who died in 1929. She was a daughter of the late Joseph R. Love and Mary Elizabeth Edmonson Love.
She is survived by three sons: Love B. Rouse, Paul G. Rouse, and Dick B. Rouse, all of Bristol; three grandchildren: Peggy Love, Alice Marie and Dora Louise Rouse; one sister, Mrs. Joe Howard, Pulaski, Va.; and three brothers, Dan Love and Young Love, both of Chilhowie, Va., and B. D. Love of Roanoke.
The body was removed to the residence of Paul G. Rouse, 725 Arlington Ave., yesterday from Blevins Funeral Home.
