"MOUNT GILEAD, O. - Clara Lou Cofer, 71, formerly of Akron, died June 17 at Morrow County Hospital after a long illness. Born in Clarksburg, W. Va., Mrs. Cofer had lived in the Akron area for 30 years. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church, Fulton, O. Surviving are her sons... daughters... brother, Roy Messenger of Akron; sister, Mrs. Deila Smallridge of Akron; 22 grandchildren; and 15 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday at the Schermesser Funeral Home, where friends may call Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Rev. Ray Doan of Fulton, O. will officiate. Interment Greensburg Cemetery, Greensburg, O."
