Laura E. Hesson, 79, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 11, 2000. Graveside services were conducted Aug. 15 at Crossville City Cemetery, with Dwayne Swafford officiating.
Mrs. Hesson was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Putnam County, TN, the daughter of Arnold and Lona Gentry.
She was a restaurant worker.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Jo Hood of Cookeville, TN; sister, Eula May of California; brothers, Arlow Gentry of Cookeville, Howard Gentry of Indiana and Arnold Gentry of Nashville, TN; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard D. Hesson; her parents, Arnold and Lona Gentry; and two sisters, Agnes Gentry and Elise Bess.
