She was born in the Town of Herman on Aug. 28, 1920, a daughter of the late Edwin and Edna (Bramstedt) Roehrborn.
Flora attended Green Bay Road School and Howards Grove High School.
On Oct. 18, 1939, Flora Roehrborn was united in marriage to George Meyer at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove. Together, the couple owned and operated Meyers Grocery in Wietzelville for over 38 years. George preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1980.
Flora was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove where she was a charter member of the Trinity Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Senior Servants, LWML and was a volunteer at the Bethesda Thrift Shop in Sheboygan and the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center. Flora had been active with the Office of Aging, Red Cross and the Vision Loss Support group, “Insight.”
Surviving Flora are her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel (Adrienne) Meyer of Sheboygan Falls and her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce (Fritz) Scheibl of Rhine Center. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Mark (Robin) Meyer, Marcia (Scott) Austreng, Wendy Scheibl (special friend, Bruce Manz), Tammy (Tim) Zorn, Michael (Ann) Scheibl and Brian Scheibl; six great-grandchildren, Matthew Zorn, Emily and Megan Austreng, Eizabeth, Isabella and Olivia Scheibl; two sisters-in-law, Gloriette Rammer and Adeline (Hilbert) Herzog, both of Cleveland; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Albert Roehrborn.
